Kotobukiya Mechanical Chain Base

Kotobukiya Mechanical Chain Base 1

I saw these ages ago like a year i reckon and thought they were really versatile at the time, then completely forgot about them.

Remember about these about a fortnight ago when i was thinking about making either a Macross or Gundam hanger.

Kotobukiya Mechanical Chain Base 2

Bought the best 3 i could find on ebay and use up some money i had from selling off a few bits.

Think with a lick of paint and some detail i could have a really nice diorama if i put some effort into it.

Cool old painting from the 80's Imai model kits, be more Valkyrie based than armor. Love the old Macross box art.

Hey! I just got 4 of these too! Wanted to used them as background for phototaking. I'm thinking of spraying them. These are definitely cool!

Really retro the box art. Do update us after you colored it.

Cool, like the old school arii kits and did not know that they reused them for modern jets.

Paper craft is awesome, seen a few things from it which would be used with my models.
Was thinking of making some with plasticard instead of paper for little dioramas.
