Revell 1/144 Curtiss P-40E Warhawk
3rd build! This kit is from 1967 and actually manufactured in the UK, don't do that anymore.
Which means it quality is really bad, like terrible. Bad fit, massive seam gaps, a canopy that doesn't fit, ruined decals and raised panel lines instead of the now normal cut into the plastic.
But i think i did it justice, picked this up from a second-hand toy shop. Always loved the design of the P-40, known as a Kittyhawk in Britain and have yet to see any other kits available for this fighter.
Had to use different decals than the ones which came with the kit, being over 40 years old they were kinda ruined and that meant no nice big teeth.
Favorite part of the kit is the underneath, turned out quite good, using promodellers wash really makes these little kits come to life.
Hope i can make a better kit in the future, really like the design and would really like a better tooled kit to build with nice big snarling teeth.
Think i should give this some more dull-cote, looks a little to shiny.
