Kit which ive had I'm stash for over a year and reckon its about time it was built. Think this is the only Su-25 available in the scale and luckly its a fairly decent kit.
Been doing some research on her and there is a lot of choice when it comes to paint schemes, like alot of the soviet era jet they where sold to alot of country's with so many different marking to choose from. Probably go with the red star
Fairly fine sprues with nice amount of detail, all the main panel lines are present with a few needed to be added and most of the shape looks correct.
Decals are simple like all soviet jets, go quite a few red star decals in my stash so should be able to pick a scheme i like.

Most of the detail present, a new panel line along the wing needs to be added i think and maybe replace the air-brakes at the end which are not quite the right shape.

All looks correct with the panel lines except some small access panels which are missing.

Paint schemes for the same bird as the box art, haven't found a scheme that ive wanted to model yet but notice that nearly all these Frogfoot's have camouflage patterns, must be because there ground attack jets.

Except for a whole new cockpit can't see this being difficult to build.

Nice kit. One of my favorite in stash. My vote for some wild camo :)
I remember the air intakes needed a lot of filling and sanding and the canopy was a bit strange but apart from that a really nice kit.

Anon, noticed the canopy seems wrong.
I bought this model the other day actually. I noticed that the pylons look really... Well weird. I've got the Revell version in 1/72 in my stash so I'm gonna compare it to that. Now that I think about it, I thought the pylons for the Academy MiG-29 looked off as well. As for paint schemes, only decent ones I've ever seen is a few Russian ones with shark mouths (not as menacing or intimidating as an A-10 imo), a Peruvian one in the air superiority grey, the classic Czech one with the frog on the tail smashing a tank. I'm not too sure on this one but I think there was an Czech one with a Shark painted on it, taken the shark mouth a little step further there. I'll be keeping an eye on this build :)

There are a lot of attractive paint schemes to choose from, since this aircraft is operated by many different countries. Although you will have trouble finding decals for most of them, like Turkmenistan, Peru or Bulgaria.

Dazzio - Looking at the pylons there do look "off" Only parts ive not modeled yet and was thinking about using the pylon from revell mig-29 which look more russian.
Anon - Like that scheme, still nit seen one that really strikes me as wanting to do yet.
It's a funny name for a plane and the kit looks really vintage!
