Five months after buying this in Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara, ive completed this little beauty of a kit which im really very happy with, one of the most satisfying builds ive ever made and think because of how perfect the kit is caused me no hassle.
Took me quite a alot of searching through lots of photos on flickr to get all the detail and decals correct, what few decals i did leave off was because of my fear of over busying up the Gundam, but to decal took me almost 2 sheets of Bandai RG Gundam decals.
At the moment ive only posed it just like the 1/1 Real-G is but will do some action shots with it fully armed up in the future, need to take time easing the joints so that i don't ruin the paint work before i go and take any photos.
After building this my third Real Grade ive now decided to model every
RG kit from the Universal Century that's released, especially One Year
War gunpla but would really look forward to a RG Turn-A.

Wow thats a brilliant build!
Was wondering what airbrush & compressor you use and what paints you used for this build and also did you use the sticker decals that came with the kit or did you buy seperate waterslide decals?
Sorry for asking so much because I also have an RG RX-78-2 thats sitting under my desk waiting to be built too and was curious how you created such a decent finish on your kit :D
this is magnificent !!! actually with all those decals, it looks even more realistic... did you do the weathered effect you mentioned in previous posts ???... those RG are gems indeed... =O
I have to give it to you for your workman ship which I expect no less bro. Good Job!!
Thank you all!
Chibisama - I bought a complete Airbrush kit off ebay (cheap one) and i really had no idea what i was buying but it all worked out fine on that front. So unfortunately i really can't give you any recommendation on what to buy.
Mostly used vallerjo air painted except fro the white which i used some Tamiya Gloss White and i used proper waterslide decals released by bandai instead of the stickers, hope thaqt all helps.
Chris - Cheers, still have'nt weathered yet, basically scared of ruin it.
Leon - Thanks for the amazing compliment!
woow really love your work here bro,, especially for the RG series, mine didn't complete yet...
em,, could you please change my link http://toys-and-hobbies.blogspot.com with the new one, http://gundamcentury.com
many thanks
Thanks for the kind words and ive changed the blog.
You really pay attention even to minor details and to achieve standard like this on a small 1/144 scale. It's a lot of hardwork. This is indeed competition level for pro. Salute!!!
Cheers Dennis, would be great if there where some Gunpla competition in the UK, would add my stuff.
