Got around to finishing off double zeta which i reckon would be the equivalent of Macross 7 in the universal century. I liked it but not as much as the other gundam series or ova's ive watched, had good bits and for a more goffy take in the gundam universe there was still quite alot of deaths. Was great to get to see Camille / Kamille and then Sayla which was a surprise.
No new mecha in there that i wiuld want to model Gundam ZZ was cool but Zeta and Mk.II better.
Had my favorite gundam gal so far, Roux Louka or as thought i heard it Lu Luka.
Onto Char's Counterattack, looking forward to that one.

Good to see Zeta & MarkII in ZZ series but somehow all these MS ain't piloted in their full potentiel in this series. I find the story kind of draggy and easily lost interest in it. Not my usual kind of U.C gundam.
Totally agree, felt like this story dragged for far too loong on rather boring storys instead of the more interesting Neo-Zeon arc.
I think the show suffered the most from some serious confusion mid way through the design process. Specifically concerning the role of Char (who was actually cut) and the tone of the show (from silly > melodramatic).
