Would you like some paint with that Y-wing

First coat, lots of paint!

First attempt with the airbrush, lots of paint. Figured this out after i painted the entire model was the super high pressure i'd been blasting the paint with. Meant to have the pressure from the compressor around 1.5 to 2 psi when doing a normal coat of paint, i had it around the 8/9 mark.

Truble was aswell was that trying to get to tiny spot i'd miss i'd end up going over a part i had already been heavily again and again. Still quite a nice over all finish that i could'nt really get with a paint brush.

Still learn from the mistakes, got plenty of models to mess up with.

First attempt with the airbrush

From what I can see, it looks good!

Did you just spray the model air on the model straight? I haven't had much trouble on resin, but it does not work with metal. Metal needs a coat of primer before hand. Haven't tried plastic yet.

I think the good thing about airbush is that the finish would be more even and not too thick.

Indeed it is your time to shine. :) However please be careful not the breath the paint as you spray. Do the necessary precaution. Good luck!
