Beautiful image i found on Flicker.
Making my next jet build a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, will problie make her a Strike Eagle. Always liked this jet next to the F-14 and F-16, espeacially as i got to see it transform into Starscream every Saturday morning as a kid. Have'nt decided the deco yet USAF or JSDAF or maybe even a low vis Starscream, but that would need homemade decals, which i have'nt yet seceded at.
2 kits ive had stored away waiting to build a F-15, A J-wing Model/toy and a second hand LS model which has all the parts taken off the sprue but is complete.
Decided to go with the LS for the most part, it has better panel lines compared to the J-toys which are more like gorges.
LB has no cockpit, weapons and fuel tanks so taking those from the J-toys, really liking the fuel tanks from that one.
Going to put the coskpit from the J-toys into the LS, massive gap between the body and cockpit on the LS.
Got the main part of the cockpit in there with a little plasticard to fill in the spaces.
To solve the massive gap between cockpit and body, i saw a tutuorial once using plasticard to fill in the massive gaps when assembling older models, instead of fill up the gap with a load of filler. See if this work when the glues dired.
