Upgrading the M.S. IGLOO 2 redesign of the Wappa.
Since i bought the U.C. Hardgraph "Ground War Set" (which is where the Zaku comes from in my dull header) ive thought about adding more detail to the vehicles that are supplied. All are great little model but can do with alot of detail added.
Out of the blue today i decided i was going to attempt making this 1/144 Wappa look more like the 1/35 one, surprised how it turned out. Most of the time spent was bending up the wire, bit frustrating at times.
Got the M.S. Igloo Wappa done and since its so small will take no time to paint, the other Wappa will be remodeled to look like the TV series line art, which is much simpler.

Sorry for the off topic comment. Just wanted to let you know that I got Revell's new Strike Eagle which we were talking about a few weeks ago. Got to say I'm a tiny bit disappointed. The kit itself looks really good, on par with the F-14/F-18 and other new kits. But: There are no cockpit decals yet again (why, oh why), there are only decals for a single machine (the (IMHO ugly) tiger meet paintjob displayed on the box) and weaponry consists of only four Sidewinders and two Amraams - way too few for my taste. On the other hand, they did include all the pylons and racks needed to attach more weapons, so if you still got a Dragon kit lying around ...
Anyway, just wanted to let you know. :-)
I hope I can turn it into a decent single seater.
Yo anon, just bought one of ebay. Totally not a fan og the decal scheme chossn but revell do like there 1/144 tiger meet jets.
Do look forward to building it, might try out some decals from the Gasphon which seem to have a good selection of options available.
