Gundam HG 1/144 - MS-09R Rick Dom - Re-painted, decaled and ready to be finished.

It maybe be pink (i reckon light purple) but you ain't going to argue with a mecha who has 2 bazookas!

Repainted in what i think is the much better colour, 50/50 purple and white which it a tad darker than pink which i almost used. Kept the decasl simple compared to the zaku i built, even though i really like all the warning signs i think that maybe on this HG model it might look a but too busy but looking awesome on new the RG mecha.

Next up which i recently just finished is a final matt coat, then to re-assemble and see what it looks like finished. Maybe some weathering but getting the felling i quite like the clean look with this one.

In a weeks time i will have thris finished photos up i hope.

Space Battleship Yamato - Season 2

Just finished what was a awesome anime. Watched the video above to see what is all about expect with 70's animation not super modern CG, this cm for a pachinko game and is why i wanted to watch Space Battleship Yamato. Its awesome!

First Yamato season was about th ship pn on a super long voyage to save the Earth, but season 2 is about is the White Comet Empire invading the entire Milky Way Galaxy heading straight for Erath as it the most beautiful planet with only the Earth Defense Force and  there beuatiful battleship able to fight the good fight.

Some of the best looking spaceships or space battleship ive ever seen, so sleek and sexy in reall great set peice battles. I want some! especially the Andromeda, which looks so damn good. Check out the Earth Fleet below, that is what season 2 is about.

Next are some movies, season 3 and then final yamto., wonder how this can be outdone?

Gundam HG 1/144 - MS-09R Rick Dom - Built, painted, which then changed colour.

All built and painted in no time after breaking the Zaku I, then the purple paint dries overnight and it turn into some sort of dark blue!

Never had a paint change colour as its dried before with the airbrush, wonder if its the gloss i used?

No worries, ive sanded, re-primed and getting ready to paint the purple colour again but next time will be a lighter purple / pink.

Really digging all rocket boosters, reminds me of the Saturn 5 booster. Painted the grey and red from a Humbrol rattle can, works great.

[Kit Review] - DML Dragon 1/144 - F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler -

I got quite a few of these kits and all of them i got cheap off ebay, nice. Detail is fantastic, got to be the best Dragon kit ive seen.

All the part shown below and what come with various kit which you can make the single seater F/A-18E, two seater F/A-18F and the electronic warfare EA-18 Growler, only thing not included which also come with the some of these kits are bombs and buddy to buddy refuel tanks.



Started building six of these already, 3 single and 3 double seaters, which i plan to do a diorama of.

Sweet 1/144 - Macchi Mc.200 - Wip 5 - Painted green and yellow?

Got these tow little beauty painted at the same time i painted most of the Rick dom parts, was really unsure about the yellow at first but now thinking in looks fine. Gloss yesterday ready for decaling.

Next think is to try out the unique camo decals which come with the Sweet kit which i hope will make the plane come to life.

HG 1/144 - MS-05B Zaku I - It ends here.

This is the last photo i got of the the Zaku I, after taking this photo i started to take it apart to add filler. But then without thinking i pulled the double-jointed arm apart and totally broke it beyond repair.

But its not a disaster, an 8.9 is a disaster.

Not going to buy another instead i revived the the Rick Dom from over a year ago, this weekend, sanded and most painted except for the pink, was on a roll.

HG 1/144 - MS-05B Zaku I - Time to build a Gunpla again.

Feels like i havent built a gunla for quite some time, been really addicted to the aircraft lately. Got quite a few High Grade kits up in the loft unbuilt mostly Universal Century and all 4 Gundams from 00, which i bought and now would rather have UC.

MS-05B Zaku I is one of many Zeon suit i have but i got no GM, aftering seeing Dennis @ Collect' em ALL
have gotten lots i kinda want to build one of them.
Going to be a very simple paint work i hope and quick, don't lik the original blue and green but was thinking maybe all black with a single white Zeon emblem on shoulder?

Sweet 1/144 - Macchi Mc.200 - Wip 4 - Ready for paint.

The 2 Macchi Mc.200 both ready to be primed and painted, one tropical yellow and the other homefront green.

Will see it the plasticard is flush with the wing once the primer is applied, once that done out with the airbrush.
