Brilliant reference book i received today for the Typhoon which comes with some awesome decals in 1/144 scale for 12 different jets from the 6 air forces which currently use the Eurofighter.
First 1/144 scale decals that Mark 1. Ltd have done and a fine set to enter the scale with. All the different scale come with the same book or more like a mook which has a page of photo of the jet to be modeled and a detail painting of the jet from various angles.
On the inside in bold letter it states no photo to be taken and shared on the web so no pics of the excellent selection of references but can tell you that there some of the best ive seen.
Back cover shows all the great Typhoon that can be modeled, 4 new RAF livery for the single seater and even have double seater decals for the model which is bound to be released from Revell in the future, making the single seater i noticed a few bit inside the model ready for the double version.
Unfortunately for the Luftwaffe modeller the decals that comes with this set are the same squadron which comes with the Revell model but different serial number but that means in total 3 Typhoons from the same Luftwaffe squadron can be modeled as the Revell kit has 2 other serial number for the same squadron, cool for a line dio maybe.
Want to model all of these, to model them all would cost me the same as one 1/32 scale Typhoon.
One that i would do in a different livery is the Royal Saudi Air Force Typhoon, recently seen in a really fantastic desert livery that is just like the Nato jets in "Operation Desert Storm"
Hoping for more 1/144 scale dozen sets in the future.
Ian
