Star Wars Obi-wan's 1/144 Blue Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter Wip

Obi-Wan's Utapau Blue Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter

Been very busy over the holiday period and did'nt get much done in the way of modeling but eveything a back to normal until the crazy period again next year.

Really like these tiny F-toys Eta-2 star-fighter, nice amount if detail for somethng so small. But not too keen on the grey paint, prefer the silver that ive seen other model painted in.

Plan on doing 26 differnet colour schemes for the Eta-2 and the first and my favorite clour id the blue one Obi-wan uses when he searches for General Greivous on Utapau.

First thing i did was glue the s-foils down and remove any flash from the molding.

Then i repaint the entire fighter in a dark silver.

Heres what i think was the hardest part, painting the super small R2 unit in a gold bronze deco.

Painted up R2 unit.

The silver is still kind of tacky, going to leave it a few day to really dry before painting anything more. Should have left the R2 unit until the silver was really dry because in keep leaving figure prints on the model which are the same size as it.

The R2 unit is so tiny and you managed to paint it with such detail on close up. This needs skill bro! Great work done!
