Another gorgeous Master Archive from GA Graphics to add to the ever growing collection mecha goodness and after the surprise RGM-79 comes what you would be the first Master Archive RX-78 Gundam. Cover from what i can tell every gundam with the RX-78 production number.

Fantastic photorealistic Gundam! Pages of the great CG work, i love it!



This is quality, after RX-78-2 comes the realistic coloured RX-78-G3 which in the master archive is ungraded Ver.Ka, inspired way of putting Ver.Ka into the gundam time line and lovin the gray.

After RX-78-2 my next favorite Gundam is RX-78NT-1 "Alex" been really hoping that whenever a new Real Grade Gundam is annouced it will be Alex, that or a GM and any Zeon suit.



Strange that the flightsuits are War in the Pocket style, really like the basic pilot suit from Mobile Suit Gundam

Variable Fighter Master File - VF-25 MESSIAH -

Another awesome new Valkyrie master file magazine/book = Mook added to the collection, this one is a real beauty filled up with plenty of gorgeous photo realistic pics of the VF-25.

Both pages for the sweet low-viz Messiah, nice addition of the shark teeth.



These photo-file pages are my favourite pages from the mook, page of space valks.

VF1, VF-11. VF-19, VF-17, VF-171 and VF-25, all low-viz and maybe all the same squadron, VF-1 even has the NUNS markings.

Macross Frontier!



Cannon Fodder or Mass Produced brown Messiah, think it must be the first Valkyrie since the VF-1 to have that livery and it looks good.



All the various monitors or heads, you can see the antenna following the same pattern as the VF-1, 1 for A, 4 for F, no J?



Gorgeous!



VF-171 gets it own little section, the AWAC is damn cool.



YF-25 prototype, thought it was great the bandai released it as a plamo first.



Like a classic paint scheme inspired by the VF-1's from Do you remember love?



Few pages for Macross Galaxy's VF-27 Lucifer, looks like it was mass-produced for NUN SPACY.



Last few pages of the Master File always has the Squadron Markings, this is my favourite pages from these because of Macross 7 Emerald Force's blue messiah and even the low-viz SMS Skull Leader.



Inspired staff pages, using the warning marking from the VF-25 for each contributor.



Still got plenty more master file to buy and look forward to browsing through these mechafests

MasterFile Metal Armor Dragonar

Another awesome Master series book from GA Graphics this time a MasterFile (one word) for Metal Armor Dragonar a series which i watched years ago. Really liked the series from all the mecha action and comedy which reminded me of Gundam ZZ, best part was having the 3 hero Dragonars taking off the aircraft carries Aquapolis. This is third mecha series profiled from studio Sunrise after RGM-79 GM and Votoms Scopedog with Studio Nue getting most of the action with the Master Archive for Valkyries.

Just like all the other Master files this one is packed for of realistic CG shot of all the Dragonars and mass-produced Dragoon's throughout the file and lots of highly detailed illustrations of nearly everything to do with each Dragonar in the series, from mechanis, weapons, pilot gear to the various equipment. Lot of information must be contained in all the text, but my Nihongo reading is so bad it mostly just flys over me.

Same concept as the Gundam Mk.II with the the parts on a movable frame.



This is my favourite mecha from the series, the mass-production MBD-1A Dragoon.



Dragonar 1 form the first few episodes of the series in space without flying armor.



The heavy support Dragonar 2, got to dig the firepower this one handles.



Electronic warfare Dragonar 3 with its radar dish head.



Pilot gear, the 2 hero's wore red so im guessing the other must be Dragoon gear.



Cool shot of the mountains.



Yellow shirt just like the US Navy directing the armor or aircraft depending.



Dragoons with XC-00 Cavalier Zero, guessing these cool armor add on went into production since from what i remember it was rarely seen after the first few episodes.



Just like all the other Master books from GA Graphics the last few pages have lot of cool colour schemes for the respective mecha, all the schemes are for the Dragoon since it the only mass-produced Earth forces machine, like alot of the country specific patterns, shame only one colour in the series for the Dragoon.



Nice credit page, all the artist getting there credit next to a selection of the gear they worked on.



After getting this file and remembering how cool Dragonar is i really hope Bandai expand on there Real Grade range and eventually move into other licenses, all 3 Dragonars and the Dragoons would look awesome as 1/144 RG kits.

Armored Trooper VOTOMS Master Book - SCOPEDOG 21C -

Got another "Master" mook from GA Graphics for the Scopedog from Votoms to add to my other GA Garphic master books, Gundam's "Master Archive" and Macross's "Master File"

Great source of information on the Scoperdog, nearly the entire book is taken on one every detail of the mecha with every other armored votom getting its line art at the back. Unlike the other Master series books this votoms one has no realistic digital photograph which is a damn shame, really what makes the master books awesome. Instead there is extensive drawing, line art and some very cool model, all of which Chirco Cuvie piloted.

Only this double page of variations, other master book have 3-5 double pages worth.



Lots of pages like this on every detail on the votom.
