Macross 1/144 - SDR-04 Phalanx Mk XII - [almost finished]

Macross 1/144 - SDR-04 Phalanx Mk XII - [almost finished]
My first resin kit the Yellow Submarine 1/144 scale SDR-04 Phalanx Mk XII which is almost finished if only i could make decals. Printing the homemade decal is fine, what i have a problem with is creating what i want on the computer due to lack of any sort of draw program.

Still the Plalanx looks fine with out the the big M's on the missile tubes, though to me it will only be finished once there applyed.

Decided to make a little dio of the destriod as if it being postioned ready for some sort of daedalus attack.

COOL! the man should be very difficult to paint. The 38 was it a template or you need to self paint?

Awesome looking diorama. I just watched some robotech yesterday, so macross is fresh in my mind.

Thank you.

LEon - The 38 came from a spare decal sheet, it one of the numbers used for the decal position on the model as per the intructions.

et43 - Good old robotech, that got me into mecha before i discovered the original macross and some what reduced my liking for it.

In the 1980s it was the best thing on Sunday morning TV however!

The first pic is great! Shows the scale of this giant compared to human size. A very well built kits and paint job. I love Macross stuff!
