Sweet 1/144 - Macchi Mc.200 - Wip 4 - Ready for paint.

Sweet 1/144 - Macchi Mc.200 - Wip 6 - Ready for paint.
The 2 Macchi Mc.200 both ready to be primed and painted, one tropical yellow and the other homefront green.

Will see it the plasticard is flush with the wing once the primer is applied, once that done out with the airbrush.

Do you use primer spray paint on your kit? I have never done priming before and is hoping you could share your knowledge with me. I hope to apply this technique on the resin conversion parts which I have just bought lately. Thank you.

I use Tamiya primer from a rattle can most of the time but ive read that quite alot of people use car paint primer, also rattle can.

Before you paint or prime the resin you have to give it a good wash in soapy water with a used toothbrush or similar. If not wash the releasing agent sprayed into the resin mold before casting will ruin the paint work.

Hope it helps.
