Bandai 1/144 HG - GN-005 GUNDAM VIRTUE -
Seems like quite some time since i built a gunpla and forgot how much i like putting them together, just a straight build with some markered panel lines.
Great suit, really big and chunky Gundam with one BFG and lot of moveable parts, still think of the Virtue as the Gorilla Gundam.

Farnborough International Airshow 2010
Airbus A380, FREAKING HUGE!!
First proper airshow ive ever been too which is quite unusual being such a big plane fan but then being a kid with a father is a former military man, you get to see all sorts of cool stuff anyways.
Of course everything starts with a queue, this was big but really well organised.
B-52, one fly pass along the runway then i guess flew back to the USA.
US Forces well represented, the pilots and crew are cool people.
Navy Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk and UH-1N Iroquois?
McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III.
F-18 Super Hornet, loudest jet at the show, awesome!
General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, first jet ti take off and please the crowd.
"Vulcan to the Sky Trust" only flying Avro Vulcan, one unique looking bomber and one of the star of the show, last jet to fly and smokey.
JF-17 Thunder
The Parachute Regiments "Red Devils"
Consolidated PBY Catalina
BAe Hawk in a cool British flag livery.
Supermarine Spitfire
Cool take off.
Avro Vulcan and Avro Lancaster, both of these are the only airworthy bomber flying.
When it flew it was the best in the show, so big yet is graceful it was shocking.
Avro Lancaster
Red Arrows, soon as these take to the runway, the crowd seems to double, was a cool show.
Red Arrow doing there thing during a sudden darking of the sky which seems to end when the Red Arrows land, sods law.
Red Arrow smoke heart.
Was a great day, want to go to more airshows in the future.

[Kit Review] - LS 1/144 - Northrop F-20 Tigershark -
Got this kit in a trade and looked like a quick easy build.
Prototype in the next stage in the F-5 Tiger II development, which was to produce a fighter to sell to country who could not afford the USA bigger more expensive birds and less technology just in case these fell into soviet hands. Then Ronald Reagan came into power and was happy for every ally of democracy to get the awesome F-16 after the USSR invaded Afghanistan.
Apparently Chuck Yeager said it was the best jet he'd ever flown.
Simple but quite nice looking detail for a plane that only got 4 prototype and must be somewhere between 20-30 years old. Reckon ill be lucky it i can still use the decals.
Best sprued up canopy ive yet seen, the sprue is attached on the fitting surface instead of on the side which i always have a problem of the sprue mark still visible on the clear plastic.

Sweet 1/144 - P-51B Mustang - Dorothy II - Finished
Finished 1/144 P-51B Mustang from Sweet Aviation Model Div. Another great little kit from sweet, seems to me to be more detailed than some 1/72 kits ive built except for the cockpit, totally lacks detail in there.
Decided to go with the livery because of the cool looking yellow and black checkered tail, the fighter belongs to Major Robert M. Barkley serving in Foggia, Italy, August 1944. 325th FG, 15th Air Force.

Sweet 1/144 - P-51B Mustang - Dorothy II - Wip 1, all ready to be Primed
Started the first Sweet 1/144 P-51B Mustang with what i think is the best looking decal option from the kit, Dorothy II. Went together perfectly as expected with all these great little sweet kits. Next to be done is optimus primed and hopefully be able to paint up tomorrow.
I think this was the first Sweet kit to come with a somewhat basic cockpit, which included a seat that was molded into the 2 pieces to form the fuselage.

BAOH the Visitor
An very gory and violate old skool OVA just watched, which i remember seeing a trailer of back in the day but could never remember what it was. Until i watched this and saw the scene that was previewed, another one of the list of anime ive wanted to watched but have no idea what it called.
Reminds me very much of the Bio Booster Armor Guyver, kid gets some sort of alien life form attached to his body, which a secret organization had and wants back and ends up with a whole load of gore and extreme blood loss.
Think this is the kind of anime that when first released in the west during the 80's, 90's gave anime (called back then Japanimation) a bad reputation as overlay violate and somewhat weird sort of cartoon, took Pokemon to change viewer opinion i think.
Animation was lovely, really flowed perfectly. sometimes looked like the Baoh was actually dancing instead of fighting, would recommend f you like 80's horror of action film.

Revell 1/144 - Eurofighter TYPHOON (single seater) - Finished -
Finished 1/144 scale model of the Europeans premier jet fighter the Typhoon from Revell of Germany. One very fine kit and very welcome. A few little thing ive noticed that can be improved the next time i build this model again.
Modeled as ZJ939 from Royal Air Force, No.11 squadron and based at RAF Coningsby, the decal which came with the kit and very nice they are.
One of my own sculpted pilot, still needs a little work and maybe a reduction in size.
My favorite side profile shoot, like those print bought at airshows.
Great detail underneath, left most of the weapons and fuel tanks off this build, didn't want the model to look too busy.
Great panel line, especially like the 4 panels on the body. Noticed during the build that a few a missing which i will add the next time i build another Typhoon.
Unlike other Revell kits ive built these deflected canards are fixed.
Always enjoy painting the jet engines, are very nice detailed on the inside also.
